I posted this idea on another thread that was complaining about the lack of ship to ship combat. I would like to see each model of ship give a bonus. Right now, judging from the beta, ships are just eye candy, they make no difference to the game other than saying in a loading screen , "hey that's my ship." Make it to where the ships give some sort of bonus, like better reloads, a shield multiplier, or a shield regeneration boost, just to name a few ideas. Armor in this game gives bonuses so until you, (Bungie,) figures out how to make space combat, treat the ships like a piece of armor and give us bonus, don't waste an opportunity.
