If you decide to trade it in, this is one instance where GameStop may actually be your best bet (difficult as that may be to believe). If it's got a 250 gig HDD or better, they're offering $150 towards the purchase of a PS4: http://www.gamestop.com/collection/trade-in Scroll to the bottom of the page and swipe through the deals for proof. Did it myself Saturday. That being said, I'd already pre-loaded the DGE on my X1 because that's where all of my friends are. So, obviously, that's my portal to Bungie's new universe. The timed-exclusive content is cool, and certainly provides you with more variety at launch. But we're getting The Dark Below DLC in just 3 months, and House of Wolves will likely drop a few months following that. Then there's the daily story chapters, random events like The Iron Banner, almost certainly more DLC and, oh yeah, the largest game Bungie has ever crafted. Personally, I got so much more enjoyment from sharing the experience that is Destiny with my friends..rather than going solo in a foreign land. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Don't let my opinion deter you from snagging a PS4, it's a great system with fantastic games both out now and on deck. But if you don't have the funds to go x-platform, talk to your friends, sway them if you can, then decide where your home for social gaming lies in the 8th generation.

Hell, yes you should. All of my friends on 360 sold it and preordered the white destiny ps4 bundle after they played on my ps4.

Sent a load of my 360 games back to Amazon via their trade-in section. Made over £200. Used it on my pre-order of an Xbox One + Destiny bundle for £349, which is exactly the same price as the PS4. Now getting it for just over £110 Easy....

But with the inclusion of Destiny, and a couple of my personal picks like Shadow of Mordor, AC Unity, and The Order, you'll have a good amount of content to choose from pretty soon.

1 ReplyEdited by Azhidal: 9/1/2014 7:02:01 AMDepends on how much you have invested in the 360, if not much move over to PS4, if its alot then you have to think of the replay value on the games and content you have compared to what you don't have. and due to the nature of destiny, unless you have alot of games I would still recommend selling off the older stuff and moving to PS4. the reason I don't recommend Xbone is because of the over pricing and the lack of good quality games that are exclusive to it. With the recommendation to sell your older stuff rather than trade in, unless of course you can strong arm your local dealer into making it worth your while.

Sell it if you want the upgrade to next (I suppose it's current now) gen right now. Keep it if you still want to play games that are exclusively last gen (Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and AC Rogue are the only two that come to mind). I would personally upgrade to Xbone only because I don't feel like making new good friends on a different console while leaving the others. Do what you want. It's your call.

I would trade it in for either an Xbox One or PS4. I went with PS4. But as far as Destiny goes, they will be identical to each other. Online service goes to Xbox Live for right now. But I still prefer PS4 and PSN; for me personally. Both are great!

Keep your XbOx 360 and get a next gen. For many reasons which I have stated before, I would suggest the PS4.
