Im just saying I see people on these forums saying hunters take skill to play and the other classes are for people who dont have skill.

      i think i agree with your endpoint but i do not think that the golden gun has as big of a hit box as you think. In my experience the golden gun has a very strong tracking property but that aside i think that using the golden gun takes tactical skill so as not to waste it.

      • You have your opinion which is fine but how its so hard for every human who his fighting over which class is better or worse that they are all equal and guess what Crucible isn't about proving whose better that's why its not called multiplayer. Crucible is for training your Guardian. That's all nothing more. So guess what there's no better and never will be. For those who are having sissy fits why don't you get the point of the game before starting sissy fits.

        • I'm sorry but in the beta 98% of the time I used hunter and got continuously outmatched by scrubs. I still had my 40+ kill games but they took a lot of skill to get. The only advantage the hunters have is speed and 3 shot golden gun which I might add is not easy to kill a mobile target with. My point is the titan has massive armor with that diving Roman reigns like punch that kills EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!! And the warlock is OP as hell. Nova bomb has a MASSIVE blast radius. the nova grenade is almost as deadly. And their average on armor and mobility. Therefore hunter takes entirely more skill

          • all these views are good but i suspect day one patch will change a lot more things than just nerfing one "overpowered vehicle" *cough ...Interceptor cough* while somethings will be same i suspect there will be few things make go wtf for few secs till get used too them again.

            • I don't understand how the classes can even be judged by their supers anyway, especially since it's not our only super. Once a hunter gets blade dancer, that super would be just as easy as the rest of them.

              Lets get something out of the way first I am talking about all those assholes saying that the interceptor is OP. WELL HERE IS SOME -blam!-ING NEWS. The interceptor is classed as a tank. Now tell me, did you run at this tank? if so you're bloody retarded, if you thinks it's too overpowering, then you're an idiot because that's what tanks are. Here is something else which i always bring up. Their is no best class in destiny, period. If you actually paid attention to the PvP system and what gamers choose in those situations then you might have spotted the 1 crucial thing in destiny. [u]PvP is a big game of Rock, paper, scissors.[/u] I shall let you figure out rest and if you can't then you might as well be the idiot running at the interceptor.

                The class does not automatically make you skilled it's the player. If you already know this why even single the hunter out? People have said pretty much the same thing about warlocks and titans taking more skill. In my opinion every class is good and everybody experienced and used them in their own way so the majority of the class threads are bias based off of ones personal experience having played as one or against one. As for the golden gun use in PvE it's merely for focusing on one major target it's not like nova bomb, fist of havoc and blade dancer. There is no AOE it's just three focused shots meant for taking down a large enemy or dealing significant enough damage to cripple it or get it close to defeat. If you were truly observant you would have noticed that it takes two to three shots for captain ranked enemies and higher, although 8 was the cap it's safe to assume it'll be the same as you progress unless the stat build drastically changes it's effects. There isn't anything wrong with the hunter, titan or warlock they're all situational and all take a skilled player to unlock their full potential which we have yet to see until sept. 9th.

                  Agree with almost everything you said. But there are no guarantees. Surprise attack or maybe a power weapon. Shotgun, rocket launcher, sniper, etc. Ive been killed more often by them than vice versa but super for a reason. Depending on the map the skill to use each super varies. Open spaces golden gun would be better for sure

                • Well, the topic name could be less of a flamebait. I suggest adding the word "more" between take and skill. But regards the main topic itself, I would say, definitely. All classes are roughly equal, and they all require different things, and they're focused on different strategies. Titan is the direct, and Warlock and Hunter are the indirect (In a perfect game anyway, with basic skills). Hunters rely on moving themselves, outmaneuvering the opponent, and Warlocks rely on moving the opponent, putting them into worse positions. Titan on the other hand, is for countering these two by stunning and by just generally outlasting them in a fight. So yes, in the battlefield, all three are designed to be viable against each other. They have different priorities in their playstyle, and thus play differently.

                • Look at everything though to see why the hinters golden gun is actually harder to use. firstly when activating it your venerable unlike the other two subclasses when activating those your invincible. Also the other two playable alpha/beta subclasses had larger damage areas than the golden gun so even though the golden gun has a decent sized HB the other to are more op. There for its harder to use the golden gun.

                  • Skill is the ability to do something well. If your finding it easy then you have that particular skill. My wife couldn't hit a barn door with a golden nuke in a video game so everything takes skill.

                      From what I have seen in Hunters Super's, the Golden Gun and the Arck Blade in PVE looks like a burst window for boss especially in Raids, In other MMO's theres a window period to unleash your DPS to the boss that time, so in Destiny Raids, when the boss gets done with his mechanic,there should be a burst window so you can use that, this is just my thinking but if its true then Hunters will be the best burst DPS class in PVE for bosses, Think about it Nova Bomb or Fist will be <<<< GOlden Gun and Arck blade for big bosses

                      • Ok, you can take out the mini boss. big whoop. the Titan/Warlock can take out all the surrounding AI, and 3/4 of the health You are very likely to get 4-6 Orbs with a titan. They all have strengths, they all have weaknesses.

                        Hunter is the only class that focuses on long range and headshot precision damage skill, which are the traditional run and gun associated tactic skills, think about the idea that BR effectiveness would determine just how "skilled" you were at halo. The hunter has a similar stigma associated with it. It literally has a perk tree focused on making your gun more accurate and upping reload speed when you get precision damage. The other classes certainly take skill, it's just not precision focused. Warlock is really AOE damage to control enemy movement and Titan is short range chase people down quick reaction time skill. You have to understand that a lot of 11 year olds associate skill only with guns, in fps games, they have absolutely no understanding of strategic roles or effective ranges. The other portion of this stigma comes from the idea that if you can't hit precision kills, the hunter won't reward you the same way a Titan or warlock would for just getting raw kills. The long range is hard to mess up at, but it's also very easy to waste time. To be honest I don't think the idea is that hunters are skilled, I assume that the good ones, the same with warlocks and titans; will need to be good at their class strengths, a skilled hunter is going to need to understand the roles of their team while being deadly at range and smart about taking on the other two classes that can obliterate them at mid-short range.

                        • This is precisely why I do not care about PvP. It always becomes a k/d measuring contest with CoD kids. I do NOT want destiny PvP to become the next COD. We want to focus on team tactics and winning and having fun. I also fully support bungies decision to not have open chat in pvp. To be honest I wouldn't mind if there were no PvP at all if it is going to be filled with 13 year old twats screaming on their mic a few swear words that they mimic ruining the game for everyone. Even in PvP every class will be useful. It all depends on your play style.
