We've all been a victim to some coward hiding around a corner with a shotgun or some sniper who finds some weird vantage point to pick people off. It's a cheap, despicable exploit that ruins the gameplay. Yes, I am talking about campers. They ruin the game. But this is a problem that could easily be solved if bungie put waypoints above everybody's heads. That way nobody will get the drop on you because you will always know where they are. I remember the 1v1 playlist on halo 3 had a similar mechanic, but I'm surprised this hasn't been utilized more effectively.

As much as I hate campers, it is still a strategic way to play. In other games I play, especially Battlefield, you learn to come up with the tactics to deal with this. A good example is clearing corners before you walk straight through a door way or taking the way least expected. If anything I've learned campers generally are looking in one direction & do not use situational awareness. It's definitely something you can use as an advantage. But way point markers over heads are you kidding me... Come on man. Think tactically. We already get a radar that gives general information on where an enemy is. If you use that plus think how you would approach a situation I bet more times than not you can figure out where someone is camping.
