I don't think you're ever going to change these people's minds with appeals to logic, but here goes: There are billions of Muslims in the world. A tiny handful of radical Muslims, following a version of the Qur'an they twisted to suit their agenda, decided to incite terror by suicide bombing WTC. How does it follow that the remaining 99.9% of Muslims in the world are scrutinized for it? There have been public shootings in which the shooter believed God told him to act this way. Are all Christians going to commit that crime? Hell no. Minnesota has a pretty significant Somali community, so I see this prejudice all the time, even in my own family. It's cowardly, unfounded, and ruins human connections. Can you imagine the things we could achieve if we didn't hold prejudice or contempt for our fellow man, when he has done nothing to earn it?
