DLCs do not work cross gen, change it
This is ridiculous. I'm a Sony guy, so I've never had to deal with Bungie before but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Why do you need to purchase Destiny now? If you don't have a current-gen console, I would say wait until you get one. That way you only pay for the game/DLC once. Future Destiny games will more than likely be current-gen only, so having Destiny on previous-gen won't do you a whole lot of good in the long term. Besides, Destiny as a game is not going anywhere. I understand the desire to play it now, rather than later, but Destiny will still be there by the time you upgrade to current-gen.
