Audio "shaders"

Bungie, much blood and digital ink has been spilled over the voice of Ghost. How about giving us audio shaders (ie. waveform modifiers) to change the way the voice of Ghost sounds, rather than entirely new recorded dialog? Getting high dollar actors in to re-record every line would be crazy expensive, and take up time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere, but giving us the ability to modify the audio with a simple preset or, an adjustable tool, would be just as good at providing some variety for the players who want a different audio experience. Just a thought.

  • Necroposting this because people still want the option to make their Ghost to sound different.

I'd make mine sound really high pitched and squeaky. I think it would be funny. And I'd name him either Chip or Dale.

  • Metal Gear has been doing a thing where you can play any soundtrack of the game through an MP3 player in the game. I think something to customize the Ghost would be awesome, but if they made audio "shaders" I would hope they wouldn't stop with just the Ghost! Cool idea!
