Ok so I was thinking about the launch content of destiny. (How there would be four strikes and one raid). and in thinking about it I remembered in the GDC conference in 2013 they talked about a fifth race of enemies.
So I thought that there would be a strike for each of the races we have encountered so far and the raid would be for the race we have yet to meet.
My reasoning is that as of yet we have not seen any of the contents of the vault of glass( VoG) and the enemies featured within.
I figure that it would be a bit redundant to have a raid against one of the races that we have already conducted a strike against and that the fifth race is so powerful that it requires any action against them to be classified a raid.
That is one theory I have.
The other is that the VoG is a kind of mishmash of enemies the. fallen, vex, cabal, and Hive all contributing in the fight against us.
Thirdly it could also be a kind of killing blow strike to a particular race of enemy. Which would be the reason why the VoG would feature a race we have already stricken. This removing a large amount of that races influence in our universe. And seeing as there are four games we would have an opportunity to eliminate nearly all the forces of the dark over the course of destiny's development.
Obviously not allot of light has be shed on the raid and for good reason. But now you've heard my thoughts, I want to hear yours. What do you think the contents of the four strikes and VoG will be at launch.
