As if it wasn't already blatantly obvious, Infinity Ward confirmed that [i]Call of Duty[/i] players aren't real gamers. They play it every night, yet they're far from hardcore gamers, and they'll keep buying the newest games regardless of platform. So, for that reason, there won't be any real changes to the franchise this generation (although that was to be expected, really).
Discuss or ignore, I don't care. I'm just gonna laugh about it a bit more.

In fairness, most COD players only play COD and Madden/Fifa and buy nothing else, Activision have done very well to market a shooter to these casuals that's done so well.
