A lot of games have the ability to lock an item to prevent it from being junked/sold/scrapped and I think this would be a great feature to add to Destiny. Just a quick option you can toggle on or off for each item that would prevent it from being able to be dismantled for glimmer. With PvP being balanced in all but the Iron Banner, it's quite possible I'll want to hold on to a low level 8 green item for several levels, for example. If it has the perfect stat bonus I want for PvP, like a bonus to the reload speed of my PvP weapon of choice, I'll hang on to it and want to use it in the crucible over my higher-level but less stat relevant gear. And at max level, I'm sure players will have a large collection of high-level gear they hold on to and switch between for certain PvE or PvP missions/modes. I would just like some way to ensure I don't ever accidentally completely destroy an item I was intending to keep. And while we're on the subject, if a "do not dismantle" tag could be added to items, I think a "dismantle all" button would be another great feature to add.
