My beta guardian now has motes of light.

I was just looking at my beta guardian on the companion app and noticed he has motes of light. Does anyone know when and how this happened?

Glass Shards became Motes of Light. Several other inventory/subclass ability/equipment changes. Happened last night or this morning. No, we don't know why. Bungie fiddling with code.
