So today I went to Gamestop, expecting to be able to somehow switch my physical disc pre-order for a downloadable pre-order, and guess what?!
Appearently (And this is simply what I was told after the guy searched through the systems) Xbox 360 DOES NOT have a downloadable pre-order option. AT ALL.
There is simply no way for me to keep my pre-order status (with special content), and have a download the day it comes out.
So talking with Microsoft support, they are telling me that a downloadable version could be available as soon as 1-3 weeks after physical release. For Xbox One and 360.
I can't play discs because my DVD drive is broken.

Microsoft does not offer any digital preorders for Xbox 360, so you'll have to take it up with them. That's not Bungie's doing. Sorry. :(

I put a new disc drive in my 360 a couple years ago. It only costs between $26-$29. YouTube video will show you how to do it.

We're on the newest gen.. You're still on the previous one. Be thankful you get new games at all.

At leasts it's not red ringed

Edited by InguinalSlayer2: 8/22/2014 6:23:50 AMAt least your 360 didn't red ring yesterday. Good thing I bought a PS4 for Destiny.

Sell your soul on ebay should get enough.
-
That's too bad but you can't really blame someone for a broken disc drive(unless they broke it themselves).

Edited by jjab2034: 8/22/2014 5:35:48 AMYou could get one of these. It's not that hard to switch out the disk drive.

You could probably get your disc drive fixed for the cost of the pre order.
-
Lame, that sucks.

Get it fixed. Just a thought.
