I've been a bungie.net member since Halo 2... why does my account say 3 years?
So, I've had my gamertag linked since Halo2. I remember registering just to get the 7th pillar emblem on my nameplate. Why does my bungie.net account only say 3 years?

The tenure attached to your bungie.net user profile it directly to related to when the account was created. Your profile that you've posted this thread with was created on November 2nd, 2010 - so it's three years old, soon to be four. Game related (Halo 2/3/Reach) history does not affect your account tenure. If you had an older account that you created for the 7th Column Nameplate in Halo 2/3/Reach, it may have auto-deleted itself. Before 2011, there was a system in place if your account was inactive for a whole year, it automatically deleted itself, which is most likely what happened to your account, so your Microsoft (Xbox) authentication freed itself up and you signed into bungie.net in 2010, thus making a new account.
