sure would be nice to actually receive some info in an update. It's been a while since we've had a "good" update. When's the secret stuff over? More importantly, when are we going to have vehicle sets other than covies on BTB Sandtrap? Least importantly (yeah, I know, not proper) when are we going to have a presidential candidate worth voting for??

To Styles - I agree sidewinder wasn't asymmetrical in the way that High Ground is but really, its not a large open area in the vein of Blood Gulch or Valhalla which I would consider to be more symmetrical Hang Em High as well, this is one open box with bases at either corner..

I was hoping for more news on whether or not infection will be making a return to the ranked hoppers. I loved Infection on Halloween, even though I only got to play in the last two hours. I got up to a lvl 5 and was hoping that it would return on Thanksgiving or Xmas, but my hopes were dashed. But i'm still hoping for V-Day Infection, cuz if love isn't infectious, than what is?

Both of which is kind of "night-time-ish". I've been wrong in the past though.. If I'm right however, I would really want a Midship and Rat Race remake though. [Edited on 02.04.2008 10:10 AM PST]

1. I hate how you rant about you and Luke doing all this crap and never get to the point, like your the only people who play halo and like we really want to know about when you and him were havin' a 1v1 and you blew up some fusion coils wow cool! 2. flying bodies are one of those quirky things that makes halo so fun. 3. so your allowed to joke about hitler, but i guess if we did it the post would be removed.

It's good to hear that the melee system is being fixed, but I have yet to hear anything on Forge DLC. When will we hear of this?

Ahh, I see the officials have caught on to the tactful 'deliberate mistiming of throwing any form of adhesive grenade, prematurely ending said player's life, denying any kill'. One I use all the time... As for the Mister Chief, my first words went as such: "Oh God, my eyes, my beautiful eyes. Ow. The burning pain, make it stop please make it stop." Quite a masterpiece, really!

I really hope that the new "Large, Asymmetrical" Map Moonlight Sonata is going to be Sidewinder... "Universally adored"?? Oh yea this is something the old school fans have been calling for! Im still hoping Cottonball is Infinity, I dug out my old copy of Halo CE just to play those PC exclusive maps again, they are just epic! FYI. That Hang em High map was already re-done for Halo 2, it was called Tombstone... [Edited on 02.04.2008 7:09 AM PST]

This is what I love about the the weekly updates. Its why I want to work at bungie. [i] So during a later one on one deathmatch (it is a relatively small map) I dropped a Bubble Shield and backed out of it while simultaneously throwing a plasma nade (the old, “Splosion Igloo” trick) but I failed hard. The nade came out of my grasp, slid on the surface of the shield and stuck to my face. Luke of course tried to make a clip so that he could laugh and touch himself – but as he was watching back the film, I saw his new fear-driven technique. He was systematically destroying every fusion core on the map to stop me from using them against him. He also leaves near-empty weapons lying around for me to pick up. His favorite trick is to leave one round in a Carbine. In many ways, he is worse than Hitler.* Let me tell you a few other Luke-isms before we move onto new business: He yells at his own teammates that they suck during games. He uses the Needler constantly. He can’t play oddball. He smells faintly of rabbit, or other gamey meat. His car is full of old newspapers, like a homeless guy. He can't eat Fatburger or he faints. Did he beat me? That’s irrelevant. Now, it’s been a while since I made a Mister Chief. But now there’s a good reason. I AM PAINTING A REAL ONE! On a large canvas. With some kind of fancy color art sticks that Lorraine gave me because she felt sorry for me. I will take a photo of the result and print it her next month. From what i've read, about the constant whining about Team Hardcore and a need for team BR, by some MLG players, which are probley kids, and I am not making reference to bungie profiting from the game although that could also be the reason why it's so Noob friendly. But thats besides the point, I disagree with MLG players being there, because that in my eyes puts them in a more favorable position. Whats the difference between someone that plays for money and those that do not? Is it that we cannot fathom all the glitches in the game? It's spectulation, but my personal experience with a supposedly MLG Pro, were problematic. I just find it rather odd.
