With buffed hand cannons and pulse rifles confirmed, do you expect to use either one on release? Personally, I really liked the battle rifle in Halo so I was excited to use the pulse rifle in the beta, but was extremely disappointed with it. I'm hoping it's good enough to be my primary weapon choice on release.

I will use every single gun in the game so yes
-
My mood constanstly shifts like the martian sands so I'll play with everything depending on how I feel. Also, i'll upgrade to whatever has the highest attack rating at the time because versatility is key. Also, it depends on how my newest gun handles.
-
I most definitely will try them. I really want to like the hand cannon. It will go with how I plan on playing my hunter.
-
I am really really glad they buffed them... spamming an auto rifle and using precision shots with a hand cannon or pulse rifle should be very very different when it comes to damage. You have to reward skill.
-
already used pulse rifles before. burst fire for teh wiiin
-
I was already using the handcannon. This didn't change my opinion. I was considering pulse riffles as well mostly because I don't like full auto.

Edited by Jesse_James-574-: 8/21/2014 8:41:15 PMHandCannons were already lethal and powerful enough in the right hands.Really hope they didn't go to far in my opinion they only needed a slight ammo buff and a slight reload buff thats it. Same with the pulse rifles really hope they didn't go to far on the buffs.A slight reduction in recoil and a slight improvement to RoF thats it. Also were asking to buff something from a beta that we were held to lv 8.

Ehh Idk

I've been rocking Hand Cannons since the Alpha and have done pretty good. Will always rock a HC. I HATE auto rifles. I had 1 kill in them in the crucible during the beta.
-
I'll probably use a scout rifle as my primary most of the time for pve, but hand cannons seem like they would be fun to use now that they are buffed
-
I planned on using the hand cannon as my main campaign and explore mode weapon regardless off the buff. I do not care about how it might affect PvP because I wouldn't bring a pistol to face off against someone who might have a fully auto assualt rifle. As fun as hand cannons are to use, I'm not going to start of my crucible career with a negative k/d for the sake of fun.

I picked hand cannons, which I'll be running on my Bladedancer Hunter, but if I'm running gunslinger it'll be between HC and SR
-
I loved the handcannons in the Beta (besides the reload). So any buff will only improve upon my potential!
-
Pulse riffle since warlock armor appears to focus in them
-
Heck yes.
-
Hand cannon. Put the thorn in my hand and let me be a god.
-
In Beta I cycled through my Best Scout,Pulse, and hand cannon because I found them fun.
-
Im going to give all weapons a try in the full game but for my first play through my hand cannon wielding warlock has a special place in my heart
-
I'm using hand cannons whether their good or not, because I'm a tool like that. I'm very glad Pulse Rifles are getting some help. I was planning to use those whenever I got bored
-
I always used pulse! Good to know I'm going to use my primary more often now! Red Death and Bad JuJu make this more likely as well.
-
Maybe. It depends. I'll still use the Scout and Sniper Rifles at longer range, but if the Hand Cannons are good enough, I might use them instead of Auto Rifles at close range.
-
If the hand cannon was in the special spot I'd probably use it. But since it's in primary I'll never run with it. Maybe every now an then just to -blam!- around with it but that's all.
-
Been using the pulse rifle through most of the beta and I plan to continue doing so :)
-
I'll try them out again and if they turn out ok, I'll consider them. There's no point in handicapping yourself by not at least giving them a try. I'll do the same as I did in the beta - test out every weapon to find the ones I like best
-
I used the Hand Cannon most of the Beta anyway, except crucible and dificult spots were i used auto-rifle, they were much more reliable. I'll definately give pulse rifle a try, always was a fan of BR back in Halo days.
-
I'm really excited about both, but mainly the pulse rifle! I'll probably give it another go to see if I like it better than the auto rifle which I primarily used in the Alpha and Beta.
