Here are some things that are ticking me off in games.
1. Overusing invisible barriers. Yes I understand the need to block off certain areas. But do you really have to have invisible barriers on the roofs of buildings that should be well within reach? When I was playing the alpha and beta, I really wanted to explore the buildings and get a good view of the surrounding land. But I was foiled by a stupid invisible barrier. Bungie, you didn't have this problem with halos 1-3. You didn't give a damn if we found a way to get out of the level on campaign mode. Why did you suddenly start caring? Why do you care if I get on top of a building that by all logic, I should be able to access? Also, what's up with the "You are leaving the battlefield, turn back or die" messages? You say you want this game to be about exploration, but why can't we explore the crumbled buildings?? Why are we restrained by all these barriers?
2. Small text. When did it become a bad idea to have reasonably sized font? Yes I have a high-def TV and yes it is 1080p. Yet Destiny's text was still rather small and hard to read.
3.Getting rid of splitscreen. Yes I've heard of the reasoning behind splitscreen's exclusion: bungie wants the best graphics possible. Which sounded perfectly reasonable......until I heard that Bungie went with 30 FPS to have graphic parity across all systems. This seems to contradict their goal of having the best graphics possible. Which brings me to the next issue:
4. Graphics parity. Who gives a shit about it? It makes no sense to have 30 fps on ps4 just because other systems cannot do 60 fps. We aren't going to have cross-platform multiplayer, so why do you give a damn about graphics parity? Nobody is going to have an advantage due to better graphics. Plus, nowadays I actually get a headache from 30 fps on a HDTV. Don't get me wrong, Destiny runs very smoothly even with 30 FPS, but I still got a headache playing it. I had to take ibuprofen to ward off the pain.

I agree with your points, however I don't know if anything can be done about some of them.

So much this. I can't count the amount of times in the beta I attempted to get up to the top of a building or object only to be met with an invisible wall.

Did you just sit down for a day and write out controversial troll posts that will get the whole community force feeding you hate. You sir have won the troll crown on this forum.
-
I will loathe the 30 fps headaches due to come.
-
I wonder how many people still don't know that all of your posts are troll posts lol
-
I'm with you on point 2, the fps thing I have a hard time getting worked up about.
-
This is the first thread ive seen from you that hasnt made me gouge my eyes out with a spoon. I agree with most of it.
-
I really like you long face I've seen alot of your work in the community and it seems like your the only one actually interested in changing this game for the better bungie should be requesting your resume to be perfectly honest you are a treasure to this community and a great friend to all those who love gaming

The red damage arrow/indicator in 97% of shooters. Not being able to holster your weapon (many shooters.) Picking up objects and being able to see through them. Regen health with no logical reasons that fit within the game world. Picking up items by simply walking over them. Opening up doors by simply pressing a button yet there is no animation for actually opening the door. Everything you said.

Most of these I agree with... Mehhh Number 2, I could read the font, But we do have different eyes, Atleast we have eyes, Unlike that guy that said Your other posts made him gouge his eyes out with a spoon.
Best post 1899
I agree, its immensely experience disconnecting to suddenly bash your head against a invisible ceiling, even worse in my opinion, is the obligatory "You are leaving the battlefield, turn back or die" Message, which in a seemingly exploration based game with a heavy emphasis on immersion you are very forcibly reminded that you are indeed playing a game, and the game doesn't want you going over here because its not a playable area. Also in forgotten shores the first time the Drag Pike's even came up for me, I had no idea it was coming, as all it shows you is some hardly noticeable little text above your super bar. Larger and easier to see text for incoming random events like that would be great.

Holy shit, a serious longface post. BTW, PS4/XB1 can't run Destiny at 60fps.
-
holy shit not a troll? <3

I loved getting outside the campaign in halo. I wonder if it's gonna still be possible in the MCC
-
I don't Mind, it would be cool with splitscreen, but, Destiny did not Feel like a co-op game, but, that is in My silly opinion.
-
I don't understand why everyone thinks split-screen is necessary for Destiny. It doesn't exactly seem like the type of game you'd want to sit on a couch and play with your friends.
-
Number 4 made sense to me, even if you are trolling.
