I'm embarrassed

I'm really embarrassed to be a part of this community, more like #Destiny. Don't get me wrong, I love Destiny! But Bungie needs to do something about all of the trolls, whiners, and pointless threads. Anybody else feel this way? Edit: It would also be nice to stop fighting over nothing, but that's clearly never going to happen... Just look at this thread alone. Edit 2: Most of you are proving my point, and thank you too the people not trying to offend or upset me. But some of you have made a few good points, like me whining, yes, I admit I'm whining. But something needs too be done about it. Now some of you are saying that there's a mute button for a reason, but it says comment hidden, then I get the compulsion (I think I spelled that right) to click on it. And one of you said that it would be rude for Bungie to not allow people to post things even if they are offensive, now I agree on that except for the part about offensive posts. I'm pretty sure you know why. Edit 3: You all are saying that apparently we are much better than the 343, CoD, and Battlefield forums. It would be nice too see some examples.

  • I don't think Bungie's forums are any less polluted than any other game or franchise forums, or ANY forum on ANY subject for that matter. This forum just represents a microcosm of the Internet community as a whole (not a "hole" or a "whore" you filthy buggers). Sadly human ugliness and malice is found everywhere, and the Internet gives these sad and pathetic people a place to be themselves. Don't give in to them. Personally, I'm a very positive person, who always tries to look for the good in people and I give everyone a chance at proving themselves. As my mother taught me, I never reply negatively to any post, no matter how much it may anger or upset me. It's not worth it. That offensive post is not worth it. I just move onto the next thread and chalk up their negativity to something missing in their lives; loneliness, insecurity, being bullied or ostracized, or any number of sad and/or depressing reasons. Some people just have sad lives, and need an outlet for their anger or frustration. Wow, this went on longer than I first imagined. I apologize. I must have been holding this in for some time. At any rate, ignore the negative posts and support the positive ones. You're not alone. And to those negative posters, you're not alone either, and I hope that you eventually find a reason to be happy and change your ways. Life is too short to always be negative and unhappy. Enjoy it while you can. And if you're idea of "fun" is being negative, you're just proving my point. But it's not too late for you. Good luck to you all. And come 9/9, good hunting!
