Ok let me tell you why this post is stupid. First of all the outbreak of Ebola in Western Africa happened BEFORE the two Americans contracted the virus and they got it because they were aid workers specifically there to help contain the outbreak and help those affected so they were knowingly putting themselves at risk. Secondly the supposed "cure" that the Americans are receiving is a highly controversial drug that hasn't even passed through animal testings yet and they aren't even sure if it really works at all or if it is just the other treatments that they are receiving and that everyone receives if they have contracted Ebola. In addition to this as a result of the drug not even passing through the animal testing phase doctors are not even sure what dose to administer to them so they could literally be giving them something that is as effective as a sugar pill or they could give them a dose that could kill them. Thirdly the outbreak in Nigeria is an isolated event that resulted in only two people getting infected with the virus, a man who had visited Western Africa recently and the nurse who was caring for the patient. It's not some conspiracy and I can't take it anymore with the whole argument that the Americans are getting special treatment when all they are getting is a drug that might not even work. Edit: also to there are only two reported cases in Nigeria when there are at least hundreds of cases in Sierra Leone and it's surrounding countries
