Credit card needed to buy xbox gold?!
I'm on a a 7 day trial at the moment and I want to by a 1 month membership on demand.I have £50,I try to to confirm my payment but a message comes up saying couldn't find a valid payment option.When it comes up with the payment methods Microsoft account:£52.99 is in grey writing whilst others like PayPal are in black.Do I have to wait while my 7 day finishes or do I have to pay wit credit card?I just want a gold membership so I can by gold games and get good deals.This is a total joke If I have to use Credit card option and I see no point in why I have to.Plus when I check my transactions on xbox.com it shows I didn't get a 7 day membership.I redeemed this with a slip I got in a game and I that I should be looking somewhere else.Someone please help,I've been looking all over the internet and I've had no look.

2 RepliesUse paypal or credit card. If you dont want to use that style you can always purchase a card at gamestop/walmart/etc and then redeem the subscription

I know that there is a card that can buy (not a credit card) that comes with a code that you can enter into the redeem code section to give you membership. You can find it on Amazon or any local game store should carry them. Just another option.

you can also go to amazon and buy a card online, they will just send you a code by email that you can enter to redeem on console - or at least that's how it works in NA. Just double check before you purchase. you can also go to xbox.com/support and do a live chat and they should be able to straighten things out

Go to any store and buy a 3-month subscription and that way you don't need to use a credit card.

I used a debit card, you should be able to do this as well.
