I have been playing Bungie games since the start of halo 2, and love how they approach both the storyline (PvE) and multiplayer (PvP) within each of their titles. I've again ventured on to this ever changing community and am surprised at how many people complaining about how unbalanced this game feels in (PvP) and i would like to try and explain something: a game that is more balanced to highlight individuals skill, will have the largest spread of K/DR. this is because the more skilled players will always have the upper hand at their 1v1 encounters. Skill>luck in most cases. Comparing Destiny (or any Previous Bungie game) to a fast kill FPS like Battlefield or COD will be inevitable. fast kill games I perceive are unbalanced because it gives everybody an opportunity to get a kill and the person with the best "twitch" reaction time will most likely win.. Balanced game play in most cases gives the person with the higher skill 9/10 times the kill. higher skill in this instance being strafing ability and consistency of headshots when aiming. The competitive nature needs to be there, not to win, but to improve their consistency at headshotting and your characters (your guardians) placement within the battlefield (maps that you play on) for instance, i sucked at halo 3, but i practised and practised to become better and ended up being the best amongst my friends group. there will always be someone out there who is better than you, so please notice the difference that unbalanced game play is easier for anyone to get a kill, vs Balanced game play where the higher skilled players are going to excel and do well! i found destiny to be very balanced, once you found the right weapon, and managed to get your eye back in to only shooting the heads of your opponents. so anyone who is reading this and wants to succeed in the crucible on Sept 9th and beyond please just train your skills, to dominate! not complain to Bungie to make it easier for you.
