Just my opinion being totted here, but quite frankly, i'm already tiring of the whole "Chosen One" philosophy in video games now.
I just quite frankly want to join the ranks of the Fallen, Vex, Cabal or Hive somewhere along the line, and lay waste to the guardians.
Be Brave? More like Take No Prisoners.
Your opinions? Are you a goody-two shoe?
Or do you have a sense of freedom?

Edited by Ethsentray: 8/7/2014 11:37:56 AMThere is no justice in murder.
So if I say yes I'm awesome, and if I say no, you're a wimp?
I can't be evil in any game. It just doesn't feel right for me. I may be a wimp or pussy but I don't care. I'm shaping the world for the greater good!
-
I usually go good first, then make an evil character
-
If i'm to make this more clear, this is a matter of moral choice in fiction, not reality. Just a reminder.
-
In Skyrim, I played more as an evil character. In Oblivion, I played more as a good character. In Fallout 3 and NV, I played more as a neutral. Just depends on the game.

Best way to go. Evil side of things.

It is a good idea but you can't exactly hold the power of light when working for the darkness, can you. Unless the darkness (presuming it is a thing similar to the traveler) sends out ghosts to bring the evil back to life, I don't see how it's possible unless you are a vex, cabal, hive or fallen.

ID RATHER FIGHT WITH VEX THEY ARE LEADT LIKEKY TO TURN ON YOU. AND HARD TO KILL.

Edited by AidenRed123: 8/7/2014 2:58:56 PMIf I could choose I would love to fight for the darkness, could be a good idea for destiny 2.
make guardians of the darkness
Edited by kcharris12: 8/7/2014 3:26:57 PMThe ghost that found you spent hundreds of years looking for a warrior that could take on the darkness. It didn't choose you because you definitely could, it chose you because some sentient part of it thought you could, and if you do end up driving back the darkness then I guess you could call the two of you meeting destiny. I also think you'll get to take on a few guardians. If the darkness is like the traveler then it could be storing the data of the universes most dangerous creatures while collecting new ones.

90% of people would go evil. Also there's enemy in the game called champions of the dark.

I don't have to do things that bring harm to others, in order to feel that I'm free. The "freedom" comes from that is an illusion. Just like the "rush" that comes from an addictive drug. Just a form of slavery where the chains are hard to see. But hard-to-see doesn't mean non-existant.

I would love to see this happen in game with guardians being either for the light, or for the darkness. It would be amazing to see the two factions go head to head in PVP just for bragging rights, etc. And it wouldn't take away from the guardians supers, or equipment. Just their personal alignment with light or dark. I think it would be a lot of fun to do. It won't happen, but it'd be cool to see a few guardians repping a fallen sign on their cloak/robe/butt cloth.

You can join my group The Dark Guardians. I'm on mobile so no link. We are evil, darkness, or general mistrust of the traveler.
