Can you just stop being gay?
Some Christians seem to think so.
They say that they were gay, found Jesus, realized they were living a sinful life style and then became straight, got married, even started a family. So a few questions would be:
1. Are they making the whole them being gay thing up?
2. If they did marry the opposite sex are they just repressing their homosexuality?

A lot of people, not all, can end up gay for a multiple of reasons. Most are born gay but some do have an option of sorts. A lot of people have been sexually molested at a very young age by someone of the same sex. When this happens to a young child whose brain is developing it rewires their brain due to the drama. This can be reversed though through years of psychology. Those christian gay conversion things though are complete crock though and is not how you treat a psychological disorder.

Through psychological help, someone can "convert" to a sexuality that they desire, but that's up to them.

okay here's what i don't understand someone is gay, because they were born that way they don't want to be gay, for whatever reason so they reject their sexuality and try to be as straight as possible would liberals be okay with that? because i sure would i would be okay either way, but something tells me people would be up in arms about that
