Hey man I new but am a front end design for my job. Just as a heads up and to make things easier and cleaner in the long run, go with a clean wordpress template that you can mod and add what you need to it. It will be much easier to not only update but get the site to live status much easier than hand building it. Most all big game clans are now sites based some how off a template design. If you need some clarification or better direction on this let me know. I won't have time to help code it since as stated I do it all day at work.
