Alliances
so if being in a Clan will give us specific rewards and achievments
what would be the benefit of being in an Alliance?
when will we be allowed to form alliances?
is there a way to start an alliance right now, that I am not aware of?
I have a clan ([url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/129938]Lead Painters[/url]) of more than a dozen tryhards and I've noticed similar clans popping up as people get more serious.
Instead of trying to get them into my clan or joining theirs, I'd much rather have them join my Alliance. To stay connected to likeminded players.
But I'm not sure what that does, and don't seem to be capable of starting one at this time.

Also, obviously alliances will allow likeminded clans to combine forces to conquer overwhelming odds. As for whether any relevant 'overwhelming odds' exist in Destiny, we have yet to find out.
