WARNING BIG SENTENCES THAT CLAIM WHERE I GOT MY INSPIRATION ARE COMING For my hunters helmet i combined two different helmets into one to create the helmet he's wearing, i got the separate helmets from destiny hub.net and destiny.wiki.fextralife. Next for the chest armor i used a snapshot from bungie and slightly modified it to create this masterpiece and the leg armor is ACTUALLY the legendary Ghost Armor Set which i also got from bungie. The cloak and gauntlets are custom built from my memory of the beta. Finally for the hunters knife i used a reference from bungie and the top view of thorn wouldn't have been possible without a picture from destiny.wikia.com. I must also give credit for Onaki from zerochan.net for uploading the picture featuring shiina(character from an anime) who is in the pose that i used for my guardian. He was last seen trying to take zone b in the venus map shores of time trying to do a 360 fakey fakey no scope and sadly fell to his death and was whisked away by the currents . he never respawned again but his gun stayed behind on the battlefield. This is my entry for the contest: [b]Inferno's Corona[/b] But, first I wanted to thank the whole art and stuff group for this awesome contest and to all the judges who give their precious time to judge our work! Thanks so much Progo! Ok, so probably everyone one is wondering what the heck a fission cannon is... Well, a Fission Cannon is a lot like a fusion rifle, in the way that it charges up energy and releases it as deadly projectiles. But, fission cannons instead shoot fair-sized, exploding orbs of energy, kind of like a cannon and a grenade launcher. You can shoot three shots in succession, then the cannon has to cool down for just a bit. The magazine is split up into 3 rounds with 9 shots in the rounds. And, as all exotics do, Inferno's Corona has its special perks. It deals solar damage. It's gun-specific perk is called Helios' Rage, a perk in which if the player gets a triple kill in 3 seconds, the gun is super-charged with solar light and the orbs deal 3x more damage and the radius of the blasts increase by 3x. Hello all, this is really just a doodle I did last night and then saw this contest and love this game so I'll enter this pic. It's simple, done in a 0.5 uniball pen. On 11x14 acid free sketch paper. This is a tribute to Bungie and this amazing game. It's my version of a male exo/hunter equipped with his own ghost (something we don't see enough or hear enough of) and with this tribute of a weapon to the Red Death. My version of this Red Death is a fully auto machine gun with an enhanced modified blade on the end for extra damage and fire element effect to melee attacks. The machine gun fires an almost bird shot stylized bullet. Fragmenting into many thermite chips upon impact. Making it a great choice for closing in on your enemy!!! Stoked for sept 9th!!! See you then guardians!

My idea for a gun

EDIT: I got it up. Ok I'm not at all an expert artist or anything but I was doodling and I got carried away and I ended up with this. I kinda like it. I had to beef up the contrast and had to darken up lines so the picture is actually visible. I blame my crappy camera that kept capturing grainy, blurry stuff. Kinda disappointing really. But whatever right? It's all for fun and what not. Anyway this dude's supposed to be a scavenger-scout type, less concerned with affairs of slaying the Darkness and evil and stuff and more concerned about just surviving. His gear's more just found, make-shift stuff and he's not really affiliated with the Guardians. He's packing a CSC-7 Linear Motor Carbine that shoots programmable matter rounds. There are several ammunition types available for versatility. Fin-Stabilized Kinetic Airburst Rounds (FSKAR) air burst near a target or over cover for maximum kinetic yield and killing power. The rounds are smart detonated with the ballistics computer scope attached to the top of the gun that can also be wired into the helmet display, which is why he's got a huge modern/next-gen fighter pilot inspired visor. A perfect long to mid range engagement weapon because of the accuracy of the bullet/computer systems combo. Armor Piercing Hyper-Velocity rounds are also available for close quarters engagements. The magnetic linear motor is especially effective with these rounds as they have a ferrofluid core that hyperaccelerates the bullets. The CSC-7's ergonomic design coupled with APHV rounds makes it a favorable weapon in CQC. I might clean this up with ink but my pens are all running really low.

WEAPON: The travelers light ENHANCEMENT: SOL fusion GHOST: custom ghost shell to match patterns and gold trim on guardian. Wielding the travelers mighty energy, this advanced fusion process binds the Travelers energy into the hands of the legendary guardian, rendering him Godlike. Only a brave few possess such a high level of light from our protector. In the background, if you look closely, you can see the traveler keeping silent watch over a battered and torn earth. Colonists attempt to make a last ditch effort to evacuate the moon. The moons surface is shattered and split, offering almost nothing but poisonous gas with no end in the foreseeable future. The fallen and hive have taken what was once ours. 3 colonist evacuation ships skyrocket upwards to achieve maximum speed before being obliterated. One of the ships is already meeting one of the inbound fallen capitol ships. They will not last. Humanity is at a turning point. Venus has been scattered. Mars an exclusion zone. Natural resources are at an all time low. So we look to the traveler, so that it may shield the last safe city on Earth, hanging low in orbit, keeping silent watch. It is up to the brave to conquer what was once ours. If you succeed, you will become legend. If you fail, guardian, the last light of civilization will go OUT. It doesn't matter who you were, only, what you will become.

My proportions are a little off and I have very little artistic ability, but I feel like I kept to Destiny style more then anyone else.
