I play less than 1 hour a day...
of other games now. I can't bring myself to play any other game (after I beat The Last Of Us) because nothing else will suffice. We aren't even at the one month mark and I probably spend, well, I'm not going to tell you how many hours I spend on these forums. >:(

I've taken up heroin for the time being to keep my mind off destiny. So far it's working really good! I was hooked on the first hit! Cons: expensive as -blam!-! I'm considering selling my body as I'm down to my last 10 bucks!

13 RepliesRarely used my netflix before the alpha was always on one game or another now i cant seem to feel the want, need, or excitement of playing any other game. I basically live on this forums and netflix now its sad. I am glad they had the beta for all consoles so you can all share in my withdraw. The Halo will kill this game has stopped, the this game is all hype has stopped, and alot (it will never be all) of the bungie loves ps more has stopped. Ha Ha, it looks like Dads for Destiny is going to be a fun group. Other then that PSN Network just added Dragon Crown to the PS3 free games on Plus and that is turning out to be a fun way to kill time before we finally get Destiny.

It's painful. Isn't it? I haven't felt like this about a game in years! Like grade school was the last time I can remember. WILLING the clock to move faster so I could get home and play Contra for the 6 millionth time!! And I don't care how old I sound cause back then all we had was right, left, jump and shoot!!!! I'm gonna recommend the Last of Us again. Except this time, draw the blinds, turn of the lights, and turn the volume up decently. Immerse yourself. Play on survivor. Be AFRAID. It's a decently long experience and a freaking great one at that.

I actually managed to get over my Destiny addiction (I did quit smoking after 18 years, so maybe I'm good at kicking these hardcore addictions), and now, I'm actually playing a bunch of other games I own. Oddly enough, they're all fun. I'm rediscovering these other great games I've had in my collection for months now. It's quite fun really. Good luck!

2 RepliesMy current routine: 1.) Check Datto's Youtube every 3 hours 2.) Check MoreConsole's Youtube every 3 hours 3.) Go on Bnet, get ashamed of humanity, rinse repeat between steps 4 and 5. 4.) Start up Xbox, play GTA for a bit before realizing that heists are as mythical as HL3 5.) Watch something on Crunchy Roll. until timer hits 3 hours. I even created a Twitter to increase efficiency of steps 1 and 2.
