Ok, if you don't know what a yield sign is... It acts like a stop sign, but only for oncoming traffic that crosses your lane. If you see somebody coming, you stop or your ass could end up in the ditch.
While there are many cases where these signs work, there are ones where literally NOBODY obeys. And they happen to be the most crucial. I have cleaned up many wrecks in those areas, some fatal.
Its like a Yield sign is more like a suggestion, a guideline than an actual rule... Should these signs still exist? Or should they just become STOP signs?

So yes we should keep them, they act as a warning and they are more convenient than stop signs because you dont have to stop. Its annoying when people treat them like stop signs though.
