IMO I like the idea of having no matchmaking for Raids in Destiny. Personally, me being 20 is one of the reasons. In many games, getting teamed up with 11-13 year olds just ruins the experience for me. All I have to hear is squeaky voices and cursing and other nonsense that I wouldn't have to put up with if I was with my friends. As they are making the raids seem, it's like they will be hard and will require teamwork and communication. I've been playing games for a very long time (Tomb Raider on PlayStation 1, Crash Bandicoot) Im only 20 now, so I was about 3/4 playing games. I've been at it nonstop for years and am very good at different type games (Gears of War, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo) I don't want to keep losing a Raid because I've been teamed up with younger kids who have just started playing video games like Call of Duty and just want to run around in circles doing everything but what is actually needed. For the people who don't have a lot of friends on their friend list, it is a inconvenience. But finding people of your age on forums isn't that hard. You can avoid the troubles I listed above and talk to others beforehand to have a game plan set and everything ready to go. If you are someone who does not have a lot of people on your friend list or perhaps not a lot of your friends are picking up the game; there are other people just like you who are in the same predicament. So it will not be hard finding others to team with. I myself only have 2 others to do a Raid with at this moment. But I would rather spend the next month and a couple days looking for others to team with then to get partied with less mature people who will do nothing but mess up my overall experience. In the end, these are just my opinions on what Bungie has done. If they do implement matchmaking, I believe that it should require people to have mics. Please let me know what you guys & gals think?
