100,000 years ago, we were the Apex race of this Local Cluster of forums. We were capable of great things. We had finally cracked Image imbedding when the Whiteness snuffed us out thread by thread.

Offtopic used to be titled "The Flood". People who regularly visited the forum just sorta took the title "Floodian" as a representation of being someone who stayed around there.

Anyone who used the Flood forum before b.next

Off Topic used to be called the Flood back in the Halo days. Basically the older members are the Flood. Now, as far as I know, there have been several "Flood." From what I've read on the Bungie wiki, each time there's a site update, some Flood (it seems like the most notable users) leave the site and form off site forums. I think to be considered a part of the Flood you have to be an "oldfoman." So even if you didn't post often, but you're an oldfoman who frequents off topic you can be considered a part of the Flood. At leas that's my understanding, if anyone wants to clear it up a bit more feel free to correct me.

I've always -blam!-ing hated that term.
