2 RepliesWe're not talking about friggin dungeon runs here. RAIDING is something that requires a team of people you work well with, know, communicate, and arent offended by. Get a clan and stop being a bunch of lazy gamers. Find a guild, friend them on your system now before this comes out, and post in the guilds forums and chats. Raiding is an important facet of the socializing aspect of MMO's. The finding group function for instant raid groups is a blight on MMO's. There is no room for it, and no need of it. Get off your ass and do some searching for the right fit. Raids are hard, tough, and a test of endurance playing. They require energy, leadership, time, friends, and logistics. Im happy as all hell Bungie refuses to put the MM tool in. And I hope they never do. If I can find the time to get in a clan and play this game and raid; while working a job that requires me to travel internationally, and go to the gym four days a week, then I think anyone should be able to.

2 RepliesHard core players need to understand that just because a random join, is not always a troll, a ninja loot or some one that flat out suck. If this was the case then all games would have just friends only. Also every tryhard has use matchmaking before when the option is there ( almost all game has them) there for that would inply that you suck as well, if are going to "assume" that every random you pare up with suck.

7 RepliesHere's why this is different than matchmaking. Now he can be at work and find five people. They can set a time to get together, and if they have any experience in the raid they can plan some and communicate before venturing in. They can find the people in the group who are less experienced and spin them up. Then if things go well, they can easily make another time to get together and go again. On the flip side, if you use matchmaking you get grouped with people you've never spoken to, and you have no idea what their experience level is. So now you are going into a raid with no planning, and people who could have no idea what they are doing. Which scenario would you rather be a part of?

Sure when I get this time machine working. Getting to future is easy, back to the past however is a problem. I cannot figure out how to keep my atoms from spontaneously combusting when I return to my own time. Anyone want to beta test it!?

2 RepliesNone of my friends play mmos they dont even know what a raid is. So now let me ask you this, Do you know what a raid is? Have you ever play a raid? If so are you good at raids? How do i know that your telling the truth. Do you have proof? Do you have a youtube video showcasing your abily to do raids If so send me the link ( i would love to see it) but it has to be your gametag on the video. What guarantie do you give me that you know what you doing? I never seen you play and never seen you in person. You may tell me look at my records and you may have a good kd, but that does not give information about your raids success. Sure you may give me some information on how to do raids, but then again you can find lots of information about wow and other games raid on google/ youtube. It only took me 2 minutes to join this site, there were no question like kd ration, ever play a raid, I was not even ask if i ever play a game before. And the same goes for facebook. Anyone can join this site in 2 minutes or less and make a post " claiming he or she is bad ass at raids, and bullshit their way into a team. So how looking in forums and other " social sites" diffrent then matchmaking? Is not is just that your matchmaking in manual and that take more time.

People now a days are loosing the ability to adapt to survive in a random unpredictible environment with random players. Is like now a days all hard core tryhard players want to be able to predic every move they make in a game, insted of showing true skill by adapting to a random enviment. Later they all want to be able to pick what opstacles should the game have so that their ideal team can overcome them. Lol

2 Replies>asking random forum people to a raid >Matchmaking I see no difference. ...hold on, I actually do see a difference. On the forum, there is people going to be split among 4 different systems. Plus, you have to wait for people to reply, add them to your friends list, and then just hope everyone actually shows up on time. With Matchmaking, you're all on the same system, and you're all there ready to go. It's perfect. Locking out a key aspect of the game like this is horrible. It's hard enough to get 3 friends together for a single Strike mission, but 6 people together for 2-4+ hour Raid is damn near impossible. We have family, jobs, and school to work around as well, which can vary drastically for some people. It's not like we can play this game all day and have unlimited free time. My gaming group from a few years ago are now split all over the country, with varying work and school hours. We all wanted to play Destiny, but our schedules probably won't allow us to be on at the same time. I'm sure i'm not the only one in a situation like this, and are frustrated by Bungie's decision regarding Raids.

They might as well add matchmaking because either way you're just going to be raiding with random people, except your way is more difficult and unnecessary.

here is some tips for you guys to how to get an fireteam of 6 with you on Raid 1: you go to Bungie.net and make an clan and then you go to the forum an ask people if they want to join you're clan and join an Raid and when they have you are ready to go 2: go and play Crucible and then you find the 5 best Crucible players you can find and note them on you're PC or on an paper and then when you have find 5 good players you send them friend requests and when everybody have accepted you're friend request and everybody is online you invite everybody to xbox live party/PSN Chat and when they all are there you ask them if they want to join you in an raid and then you are ready to go 3: go to FaceBook join an Destiny Group and ask if 5 other people wants to join you on an raid and then you are ready to go there is you're tips not difficult and a lot of fun :)
