Speculation, Misinformation, and Disappointment Information Compilation Topic

It's time to end all this silly conflict about the games size, and disappointment due to being "over-hyped" that's been going around. I will explain to you why using sources gathered throughout the beta off and on the forums. Game Size: This http://www.twitch.tv/2old2play/b/551599375 at about 1:49:40 the question: Are there only one explorable areas per planet/moon. During this they are in an crucible match so the guy asking it messes it up a bit(can you blame him?). DeeJ understands what he is asking and corrects him by stating the worlds(destinations) that we can go to. But some have stated that it means only one zone per destination, but that is up to speculation. This http://destinydb.info/ has been used to support this topic as well, but it was recently updated to say it's all speculation and is subject to change. Also supported by this post made by the creator of the site http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2bw74e/please_remain_calm_destiny_has_32_story_missions/ it's still speculation. Even further evidence we have been mistaken is by this post(which may or may not be from urk) http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=862762 After reading that post please note that he stated the moon was the smallest location in the game. Now this all may or may not change in the coming weeks but I can say this, Bungie isn't stupid they knew someone was going to data-mine so they would have put limited information to further hype and hide the full game. But this is merely more speculation. Maps: I know that at one point Bungie stated that the PvP maps were based off of locations you could actually visit in the game. As well as the many locations we came to see through concept art and in game footage like here http://youtu.be/LIxxsw7TNd4?list=UU52XYgEExV9VG6Rt-6vnzVA around 1:27 here you'll see what looks to be Old Chicago. At 2:20 this looks to be a city on Venus. And 2:21 Look familiar? You'd be right if you said that's Shores of Time, but wait there's enemies there hmmm. 2:44 don't know where that is but it sure isn't like the other areas. 3:51 hey look Venus, that's quite a bit of missions. 4:56 that sure looks a lot like Shores doesn't it? I hope this changes your speculations on the so called "small game with few maps to play on". Disappointment/Over-Hype: Quite frankly the game is as I expected. Why? because I used the information at hand and from there formed expectations, and they were met when I played the beta. Bungie is doing their job. They are excited to get this game to us so they showed us all we need to know to decide. OK, yes they at one point said "you can go anywhere you see." But that was at last years E3 a lot can and will change in that time frame. Is it a limitation of the last gen hardware? Most likely, but only because Bungie knows as well as I do that not everyone is going to buy something that is so new just for one game. Of course I will buy next gen by time the Destiny sequel is released. Wait you mean it's not a ten year game? Obviously, it not being an MMO and it being the fact that continuing a story in one is hard without at some point overwriting the original story. Note World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The whole vanilla world redone no longer there for new and old players to experience. Also to note here http://www.twitch.tv/2old2play/b/551599375 at 1:30:00-1:31:50 for more on this. Anyway, Bungie didn't "over-hype" the game. Please look at Spore and Diablo III those were over-hyped. In the end again they gave us all we needed to decide if this game is for us or not. So please if you are disappointed because of the beta blame yourself and give the full release a try. Beta Carry Over: This has also been asked about a lot but suffice to say it's up in the air. Bungie themselves do not know if it will be possible Why? DeeJ stated that the team doesn't know yet if it is possible. If you go to 1:33:54 of http://www.twitch.tv/2old2play/b/551599375 you'll get your answer on another round of editions. 1:36:00 for final info on trading. That's all I have for know so I hope you get something out of this, thanks for reading. Now here's a dessert buffet please enjoy it if you read this post :)
