Better engine or Turbo?

Ok so now that I have my civic I decide that eventually I'm going to make my celica more powerful. I want some opinions on it. Right now I have two things I'm looking at doing. The first thing is turboing my engine. My engine can run about 8psi safely. This should be good for around 200ish hp at the crank. The other option is a NA 2.0 liter engine with around 200hp called the 3sge beams. It has 7000 redline and is similar to a vtech engine where all the power is in the top end. Here are the pros and cons as I see them. Just tell me what you guys think. Turbo Pros: Part availability Learn fabrication skills Maadd turbo power Have an engine I built my self. Turbo Cons: Expense might be more than the Beams ECU tuning will be a bitch Not as easy to do as the Beams Requires a lot of fabrication Beams Pros Easy swap with minimal wiring Reliable as my current engine It's a very very pretty engine Beams Cons: All the power is in the top end which is fun in its own way but hard to use on the road. JDM engine which mean parts will be harder to find.

Turbo will require a lot of work a non turbo'd 4 banger It's not just about how much pressure the block handle, but how it will effect the reliability on everything else in your drivetrain. Also once you go boost, you'll eventually want to crank your boost up, and that will require getting more heavier duty parts for your drivetrain to handle the boost. The one thing people don't tell you is that boost can be a money pit if you're not careful(always breaking stuff, etc) That said I'd probably stick with the turbo, N/A 4 cylinders are boring otherwise IMO
