When it was first revealed that we would have personal starship I really hoped that Destiny would have where we could fly our own ships from planet to planet. But now, in the beta at least, we just passively watch a cinematic loading screen (a very awesome one, nonetheless) I would love to see the ability to control our own starships, even if its something I have to buy post-launch. I think it can work a lot like traveling in Kingdom Hearts (forgive me for referencing other games). For those unfamiliar with it, in Kingdom Hearts, there is a very similar element of flying a ship from world to world. In Kingdom Hearts, however, instead of a cinematic loading screen we get to control our own ship in something thats almost like a Star Wars trench run mini game. (If you want to look videos up search for Kingdom Hearts gummi ship)(It's also a lot like the broadsword level in Halo 4) You fight enemies along the way, weave through obstacles and earn upgrade pieces for your ship. The flight to each planet is different, and once you've traveled to planet, once you want to return you can simply warp to the planet and you see a cinematic loading screen instead. I feel like Destiny could do this but a lot better, and I think it would add another level of gameplay. What do you guys think?
