Alright so after pretty much getting no sleep over the weekend " Like pretty much everyone else" haha I have to say thank god the Beta is over because I got completely addicted to it and don't know how much longer I could have lasted with my lack of sleep. On to the subject at hand though. I found the beta to be a lot of fun however there were some key issues that worried me one of which being the Mini Map in Multiplayer. I'm a bit perplexed as to why it was made this way but it completely ruins the concept of playing smart or being stealthy to me because you show up on the minimap simple moving around. It really bothers me that this is the case because you die in situations you would normally have the jump or advantage because the enemy knows your coming or are going to round that corner so can prep for you when normally they would have no clue unless they were paying attention and actually using visual ques. This leads camping in others ways such as people sitting around objects waiting for the ques to blast people with shotguns. Several times I would find teammates getting gun downed by enemy combatants and they should have had no clue I had the jump but because of the minimap saw an enemy from that direction and were able to turn and take me out when normally that would have been easy kills and possibly me saving a teammate. But instead even though they did not pay attention to there surroundings and chased blindly after the wounded dog they came out on top simply because the mini map gave them a heads up saying HEY bad guy coming from that way!!! Also say a match is completely one sided the way the mini map is now it would give the losing team no chance to re group and try flank maneuvers etc because the winning team would know you were coming so you would never be able to get out of the spawn trapping situation and regroup because they would constantly be picking each player off as the spawn in keeping everyone on separate spawn timers making it difficult to regroup and make any kind of offensive push back. I can possible see why it is there because they are trying to promote a more fast paced run and gun style multiplayer hence the smaller maps with lots of CQC, short spawn times and the ladder but honestly seems kind of cheap because people don't need to pay attention to there surroundings not to mention it takes away from the amazing visuals and tactical play of the game because you find yourself looking at the minimap most the match to see where enemies are coming from. Anyways what are your thoughts on this subject? Please explain why you think what you do would really like to see others point of view on this subject and if people like it hate it or would like to see it changed to one of the options listed in the poll or maybe something completely different.
