Bungie hear my plea!!!! (Exotic gear)
Please let the rumors be true! Every exotic item is unique and there's only one of that piece of gear, so when you obtain a exotic item that means you have the only one of the specific item. As well as the exotic engrams being class specific. so if you redeemed the engram as your hunter you would get a one of a kind item tailored to your class! Please tell me this is true! This is my one request bungie, please do this and make this game the best MMO of all time.

4 RepliesNo, it isn't just one of a kind. Imagine just one guy in Destiny having "Closing Time" (Sniper Rifle) Which basically gives active camouflage when aimed. Imagine just one guy with it, they can't make that happen. Sorry

nope anyone could have the same exotic gear of the same class . it all depends how fast or how long could another guardian get it after you do . that being said another guardian in your class can get it .

But it would be cool if the exotic items where really unique and very hard to get and only able to be obtained after playing for 100 hours or so. Or make it so that the exotic item is given to a random player in PvP or PvE once a week. So after a whole year there are only 52 people with a exotic item. Or everyday day one specif item. Monday exotic helmet. Tuesday exotic chest plate Wednesday exotic arms Thursday exotic legs Friday exotic badges/bracelet/cloak Saturday wapen Sunday random

You can carry as many as you want in your inventory though. Bungie did that so you have to decide what exotic stuff goes with your playstyle the best.

Please Bungie! It doesn't even need to be in release. one of a kind gear in DLC would be great, its like earning a handcrafted, signed piece of Art from the creators of the most bold and revolutionizing game in years, maybe ever.
