So I noticed a little bit ago that there's an off site Flood forum.
Why?
I know Bnet isn't perfect, but doing this is just going to split up the community even more than what it already is. If anything, stay on site and keep your activities inside of a group. Less fragmentation this way.

Personally, I find it hilarious that all these two and three year members are running around acting like they weren't the annoying new guys themselves not too long ago. No worries, though. Most of the real old timers are still here. We just thinned out some of the unwarranted entitlement of the middlemen for a little while.
-
I could care less. I just come here for friendly discussion. Some "Legends" think their so high and mighty or entitled because they have a tenure. It's no excuse for users to attack people who are un-informed or who are unfamiliar with things such as #Topics or stuff like that.
-
Why are people unable to grasp the concept of us using both websites? It's really not that difficult to understand.
-
Just let it happen. This has got to be the 5th attempt at an off site flood forum. It's probably gonna drop through the floor like the rest.
-
I swear, some of the arguments down below are hilarious, especially all the people acting entitled and what not.

Edited by relliK42: 7/31/2014 6:25:25 AMUsers come and go in various ways with offsites being one of them. No one is obligated or forced to stay here, but sometimes user migration is for the better. You'll find that normally these people are, well, like a piece of gum on the bottom of your shoe. It's unwanted and you can't wait to get it off. Not everyone who scampers off is a nuisance, but the majority of users are the ones you'd typically mute.
-
Because people think they are better than others and think they are "legends" and "vets", when most of the people that leave are 2010-12. So they are neither. They also forget that they were the new people at one point too. All in all it's a lot of the trolls and people that baited, Kiyo, Dustin, Meta, comms, all those people. So it only made this place better.
-
i use both... like most people who use the offsite.
-
The past few days on here have been a bit better than usual. Here's hoping the same lot of undesirables so eager to leave eventually do so and don't ever come back.
-
I don't plan on leaving. A little bit of hardships and people jump ship
-
I never really left, but I've stopped posting as much on here. All the -blam!-ing desticles in #offtopic is annoying as shit. The "community" you're so eager to maintain has been dying off ever since the first B.next update. Tons of users left and they've been replaced by 14 year olds who think Destiny and Bungie are the greatest things ever and a bunch of horrible wannabe trolls and shitposters.
-
Because of the poorly implemented title update.
-
omg this sucks Bungie pls fix

im leaving

omg you all suck

haha noobs still on b.net and not our superior site

#Offtopic are not real flood you're all offtopites trololololol

lol hive scrubs

guize pls join our offsite

omg offsite is ruined im so mad it was so much better than b.net

IT GOT TAKEN DOWN LET'S MAKE A NEW ONE THAT DEFINITELY WON'T GET RUINED IN THE EXACT SAME WAY
Offsite in a nutshell.

Can someone give me a link to the offsite, I wanna see Comms officer troll again XD

Edited by Trick-Star: 7/29/2014 9:49:17 AMPeople don't have a clue as to why we went offsite. -b.lind was (and still is) a mess -b.lind can't handle punctuation in titles -b.lind's ban system doesn't even tell you that you're banned -the Desticles were (and still are) bleeding through to Offtopic, posting threads we honestly couldn't give two shits about -offsite was laid back and had dedicated posters -posters were actually of good qwhality -layout -chronological posting -didn't have a stingy filter The list goes on. Yeah, we're back. The Offsite got nuked, so we're back to the shitfest that is b.li-ERROR!
-
I'm kinda new to bungie and confused as hell.. Veterans are leaving because immature people are joining? ("Desticles") or is it simply because of the horde of new players? Or possibly just Destiny? Andbody who can shed some light on this for me?
-
Burning my retinas by attempting to post here is an unfavorable action to me.

Keep us old members alive guys!!!
-
Edited by omg a banned: 7/28/2014 6:24:32 PMI come here for gaming and it's even worse with the Desitards there, this site was unnecessary and looks like shit, it's still buggy as hell, I can't tell who likes my posts now, my notifications don't work as well, and my Last to Post thread only has 5000 replies instead of the 6000 and the only way I can see how many it has are if I get on the shitty mobile version I'm not leaving but that's because I don't have any friends in real life and come here when I'm bored. -blam!-
-
Why would I wanna join an off-site circle jerk?
-
Oh, I was wondering why there haven't been any shit posts lately... So where's the party at now???
-
We've tried twice now, and failed both times. At this point, I'd just assume we give up and stay here. Sure, B.net's not perfect, but at least we don't have to worry about it being nuked every time we get off.
-
Edited by nBloo: 7/28/2014 3:06:48 AMNah don't worry about it. They will come back eventually. I mean it happened before and the cycle will just repeat itself.
-
I was on the other forum after the update because the forums seemed fairly slower than usual and there were a few bugs that made using the site a little annoying. After this last one got deleted, I don't know if I'll go on the new one since people might get it deleted once more. The first site was quite nice though for the first few days. Old flood banner, separate religion/politics section, mainly civil conversations. It was a nice change of pace.

All their respective nuts are in knots that's why
