I deleted my battle cry for one of my clans. I was thinking I'd change it later after I had thought of something better. When I came back to change my battle cry I was unable to. The field was completely gone, unable to edit. I had to delete and recreate my clan in order to enter a battle cry. I'm just posting this to help out. If you are going to change your battle cry or want the option to change your battle cry at any point - never delete or empty the text field completely and then save. Always leave the quotation marks or something in the field so that you have access to a battle cry. Maybe this is just a bug and it will be fixed. I hope that this helps out.
