Create a class item contest? Read it guys. I think you will like it
[b]This is just an idea for Bungie. But i think everyone would enjoy it! Thanks for reading and please let me know what you think, and support it if you like it![/b]
I think one thing that helps create a good community for gamers and a company are real events. Not just in-game events, but one that focuses on other talents.
Which is why I really think Bungie should hold a contest, one or twice a year. Not just one time ever, but frequently. A contest where everyone can create a class item. Design your own, any of the three you want.
There will be three winners, one for each class. Maybe more if Bungie wishes. But what do the best designs win? Simple. Their design gets put in the game, and are as rare as a legendary or exotic. But also the respective winners get their designed class item, to show off to the world!
Helps Bungie add new content and it helps create a cool community, who get to look forward to these types of things.
So what do you guys think?

1 ReplyA hunter cloak that resembles angel wings. It'll be called the "Angel of Death" and it'll have a white aura about it. After a certain level is achieved, a thick gray mist will pour from under the cloak and float around below your knees

Holographic warlock armband with red runes flashing in alien writing. Kinda like the matrix green letters but instead of falling they stay floating, would be cool to see it they trail while riding on a sparrow.

it would be cool for a titan class peace if it was just a band around the waist or something like the default class peace but instead it was on fire and the solar flames or whatever kind of flames they are reach up to the armpit but the flames were only on the titans left side like where the cloth goes in the ones in the beta

Enhanced solar damage for abilities and weapons with the solar element. This would probably be too overpowered, but hey it's just a 'spur of the moment' idea.

Angel or demon wings; (Hunter) "Darkness will set you free" "Light will guide your way" allows you to jump 50% higher or so maybe less. a black or white robe that has the absorbing darkness effect (warlock) the same quotes. allows your health to increase A black and white "butt cape" with the effect of the warlock but has a cool symbol mean on the it (Titan) "same quotes" it increases your running speed.

Given only to people who show valor and bravery in the crucible, or shattered the grip or the darkness. Or it could be only available to clan leaders and their top players. Could be cool

1 ReplyI was thinking a hunter cape that is made up of small fragment's of crystals and it looks sharp and deadly with a dark black aroma or mist or fog with a bright light you can barley see pulsing in the inner crystals. Name: "power of dark cleansing light" The quote: "The light continues to guide as darkness empower's me with light cleansing' There can be different models for each class and shader's that can correspond and change the color for more flavor and variety for people, you can even throw in cool buffs like +10 agility or any other feature that gives a small boost to your guardian's.

I would like some sort of helmet available to all classes that has a transparent face. Like an astronauts helmet that shows off the character you created. The name would something along the lines of "explorer" or "pioneer" to go with the theme of the astronauts that explored the planets. I can't draw to save my life but I would like to see someone make some concept art of this idea.

If Bungie refuse to take responsibility of admitting fault for this disaster and release a statement that they've lied to the public, within a letter of apology. I suggest that Harold Ryan (CEO of Bungie) should perform Harakiri. The money that he had earned from the first week sale of this product can easily let him purchase a good short knife for the procedure.
