Does jump and double jump need improvements?

It seems like out of all the double jumps, the titan's is probably the most unsuited for the character. Makes sense that the warlock has a prolonged floaty jump. The hunter's is normal and to the point. But, then the Titan has this klunky, modified version of the warlock's jump. For titan class, I'd prefer something similar to the Hunter's double jump instead because it's more straightforward. Also, sometimes I want to jump up on something that's too high for a single jump and way too low for double jump, in which the attempt causes me to hover several feet over the object for seconds just to land on it. In PvE it's more of an annoyance, but I find that double jumping in PvP can be risky and time inefficient in small maps(like Earth and Mars), especially when you're trying to get the drop on the enemy. It seems better to run around the map instead. I'm still undecided about it because I've already gotten used to controlling my jump better, but does anyone think jumping can be improved upon?

  • If you look at the upgrade screens some of the tree is dedicated to jump control/distance. Seems like it intentionally starts off clunky and improves. I have not tried the Titan so I cant speak to that but I like that each class has its own jump, makes pvp more unpredictable.
