Proximity Chat

I've seen this mentioned before and feel it's something this game could really use. The only concern with it seems to be people having to listen to the idiots running up to everyone in sight and yelling into the mic or generally being obnoxious. To this there may be a solution. Aside from the standard "Mute Player" and "Mute All" options an auto mute feature can be implemented to deal with these troublesome players. Once a certain number of individual mutes are accumulated on any one person, that person will automatically be muted to all players (Not including friends) for however long, like a timeout of sorts. After his/her timeout he'll be free to openly chat with others again. Of course said person may be unmuted individually by anyone interested in hearing what this person has to say. Leave your comments and suggestions, it would be nice to expand upon this.

  • I know this is something many of us desire. I see it spoken of constantly and the social aspect of this game is an issue which keeps popping up.
