PvP Feedback for Bungie

[b]I hope Bungie sees this and even replies to me. Since I have always been big in the Competitive MP scene, PvP is big for me. I am very pleased with the PvP and Destiny over all but its not quite perfect just yet. These are some things i think the PvP needs to help make it better and more balanced. Its just my opinion, feel free to disagree with me and add/edit things on the bottom comments :-) [/b] [b]1.[/b] The Multiplayer is a little chaotic. [b] a.[/b] I cant tell if grenades belong to my teammates or enemies. [b]b.[/b] I cant really even tell where some enemy grenade damage is even coming from. [b]c. [/b]Special abilities are a little too common. free 1 hit kill abilities that are very hard to counter. i think it should be a little easier to counter or harder to fill the "heat up" meter. [b]2.[/b] spawns are good but not perfect. I have spawned very very close to some enemies before mainly on the Venus map. its not to bad however. [b]3. [/b]Sometimes parties get split up onto the other team. i don't think this should be happening at all. [b]4.[/b] Leader boards, Where are they? it would be cool to compare my stats to friends by looking at leader boards. total kills, total head shots, total wins etc. it would be even cooler to be able to compare my stats to the players on PS4 from my PS3 version. and vise verse. same for X1 and 360. [b]5. [/b]Rocket launchers are a little OP. 1 hit kills. maybe the heavy ammo should be a little harder to obtain. [b]6.[/b] Vehicles are a little OP. They can be hard to Destroy. i know you can shoot them with turrets, or shoot the driver, but this can be difficult. [b] a.[/b] maybe the vehicles should take more damage if you shoot them on the sides and even more on the back? [b] b. [/b] or the damage these vehicles give can be reduced. I'm specifically talking about the tank like vehicle. The one that shoots rockets. [b]c.[/b] I think something needs to done to it. or maybe these vehicles can be harder to obtain by having a longer spawn time. [b]d.[/b] Vehicle hijacking like in halo could be good. [b]7. [/b]maps should have a Veto option (Vote to Skip) [b]8. [/b]There should be a small penalty for quitting. Not so much on 6v6 but i saw that there is a 3v3 playlist and players or clans that quit on those game modes should be penalized because there is so few players playing already. its hard enough to find people on a small player count map. I don't think the Penalty should be crazy like Demoting (De-Rank) or 10 minutes no play time but something that is subtle but makes you think twice before quitting. [b]a.[/b] Bungie should have a quit stat for the quitters. as an embarrassing stat. it should carry on over to other guardians as well. that way if they make a new one it will still be there. [b]9. [/b]Radar needs to be more accurate. Sometimes so many red indicators appear that i think its more then one enemy but in reality its just one. it doesn't really do a good job pointing out my enemies location like the one from Halo since they both do the same thing. It does a great job telling me when an enemy is on a vehicle though. [b]10. [/b]I should be able to look at the legend(stats) in game instead of coming on this website. Same goes for Clans. there should be an in game clan system. [b]11.[/b] Private matches should be added. I know its a beta but you never know. [b]12.[/b] Leveled Matchmaking. I shouldn't get put with players who are level 8 when I'm just level 5 as an example. Another example would be a level 30 getting paired with a level 12 with worse guns and gear. I should get paired with players who are close to my rank or a little bit above my rank. [b]13.[/b]Special ability needs to be nerfed. it seems like everyone gets them at the same time too. its hard enough trying to counter the heavy weapons but the specials are real hard and they are 1 hit kills. here are some suggestions on what Bungie can do maybe [b]a.[/b] Instead of 100% damage it could be reduced to maybe 80% or 70%. this way its more of a way to finish off enemies and you will use it more tactically. maybe if you are being jumped you can weaken a few enemies around you and then finish them off with the special. [b]b.[/b] Make the specials more harder to obtain. increase the amount of score needed to obtain them. i get it about 5 times a match, reducing it to 2 times is a significant nerf. [b]c.[/b] if it comes down to this then just remove it completely off the PvP. Like i said, its hard enough trying to kill someone with a heavy weapon. [b]Anyways thank you for reading through and i hope Bungie has read and can agree with some of the things i said. If anyone disagrees with me or wants to add something feel free to add a comment below. Remember its just my opinion and i know Bungie will do a great job on Destiny! :-)[/b] [b]P.s.     It would be cool if enemy grenades like nova bomb were red and yours were blue. I agree with all of this for the most part, but I think map vetoing won't be necessary once there are 17 maps.

  • Bro.... I agree with every point you made. People don't get me wrong I love the PvP, but to me imho as well it's still ways of being close to perfect. Which still needs work like Bungie taking notice in how powerful the intercepter was on the moon. Which was making ppl despise the moon a lot including myself. Bungie please take notice a you already done. B)

  • Would love to see bigger map's. That way the combat wouldn't be so twitchy. It feels anticlimactic to me atm.

  • I agree with a lot of your points but I also think that the auto rifle needs to be seriously nerfed. Currently it dominates all other weapons at all ranges.

    • Yes, I agree with everything here. Really hope Bungie sees this and works hard on the MP. I would really like to get into it but it feels so unbalanced to me. I know I'm not the best but I would like to know that I'm not going to be pointless shooting people when they can kill me and I can't o any damage to them. One thing I would say that's not on your list is this impact MP deal, apparently impact has much more effect in MP than it doesn't in single player. Basically if you're playing SP with a low impact gun you'll be fine an do the damage you're meant to be doing but when you take that gun into MP it's gonna do less damage. I think that's unfair because alot of people will not realize this and will take their SP gun into MP with them. I also don't want to carry about a MP weapon and SP weapon

      • I like the PvP pretty well so far. My only complaint being that certain guns just rule the battlefield such as the shingen. With this gun in particular until you obtain this gun your at a disadvantage in PvP so maybe just make impact matter more in PvP cause I have noticed that that particular stat does nothing in pvp

        • I've actually had a lot of trouble with spawning on the Venus map, I've spawned multiple times in multiple matches right into the middle of a group of enemy players, and of course got completely wiped out. And I don't really think they should nerf the power of the specials, but I agree there should be a way slow down how fast everybody gets them. And also make it easier to stop/ kill players during their special, because the Titan and warlock class become momentarily invincible making some encounters impossible to win, where as the hunter can be stopped dead before the first golden gun shot is fired.

          • I agree with pretty much everything, especially the supers happening to often. I would also add spawning with sniper causes matches to turn into nothing more than team snipers. After only 4 matches, it's already old. Does anyone else feel this way?

              Getting rocket launcher is like rocket spawn in Halo. It's supposed to be OP. Prepare for heavy ammo before it spawns so that YOU get the OP weapon. Pretty much good overall though. Supported by me.

              • Is there a bug where rewards go to the wrong player? I just had my best PvP with a hunter and I thought I was getting something rare. Instead the person in last place got some rare armor I could have worn, and I got the same armor I already had on. It seems our rewards were switched.

                • I feel like something they should change in the MP is they should completely remove "Super Charge" abilities. Personally, I feel this breaks the multiplayer and makes it less fun for other players that aren't doing as well as some of the experienced players. There are so many times I am put on a team with lower level players who are new to the beta and can't really hold their own as well as some of the higher ranked players and I constantly die from other players using their special abilities. I think it would balance the multiplayer a lot more without these ability. Another thing I feel the change is being able to start with special ammo (for shotguns, snipers and fusion rifles). I think you should have to acquire ammo for the special weapons like you do for heavy weapons.... Maybe make it harder to get heavy weapon ammo like you said but make it a little easier to obtain special ammo... Idk, sounds a little broken to me to be able to just spawn with a sniper and sit all the way in the back of the map and pick people off that are actually trying to play the objective. Just some thoughts, let me know what you guys think :)

                  • Here Add this. They need to do a better job of teaming up players. There has to be some kind of Gear rating implemented in order to pair people up. 15 minutes of getting one shot and two shot is not fun, especially when every one on the opposing team has two health bars.
