Bungie,
Please add a Audio/Sound/Music control panel to the options in Destiny. Your music is great, but when I want to listen to my own music I have to either turn my game sound way down or listen to my music and yours battle it out in my head.
-
if your on Xbox you could just play music from the console it turns off the game music but dear god this game needs sound controls i don't understand how they missed this
-
This is an amazing idea. Video games need Audio control bungie. Remember Halo 3. The menu music busted my eardrums.

Edited by spatulashack: 12/3/2014 3:27:55 PMFor the love of God, yes. Bungie, please add this basic feature that is available in nearly every game released from the past decade. There is zero reason this wasn't available at launch and all these updates still haven't put it in? It can't be hard. If Candy Crush, Temple Run, and micro budgeted indie games can put in basic audio controls I think your Triple-A, massively budgeted game can handle it. I'm tired of my ears bleeding from the insanely loud music that drowns out all other sound in the game including my friends who are trying to communicate over the mic.
-
Seriously, if a volume slider and on/off toggle for the music, the simplest little things, aren't in the expansion, everyone making decisions for Destiny need to be fired. That's just unacceptable.
-
YES PLEASE!
-
The wee ooo wee ooo angels in orbit are brainwashing me. With headphones on, this must be the worst part of the game for me. ~Worse than not hearing my team chat when the action kicks off in a strike. Bungie, please listen to the feedback and add music options.. much as I love the music, I need to turn it down sometimes!
-
This bungie. Make it happen please
-
Dear Bungie, Destiny is not an elevator or a church, so don't make it sound like both. Love, Autonomous MoneyBags
-
Agreed. The music adds to the effect but after doing the same mission 90 times I understand the effect. Time for my own music...
-
Music adds to the environment, but the music is distracting when you're trying to listen to the game. Every FPS I play with PvP in it, I always turn the music off so I can hear other players. It makes the game far more immersive. But during exploration and PvE, I usually enjoy some background music to break the silence
-
Yes, I love the game 'Destiny' ... Its incredible... but the in-game music has to go. I just can't concentrate as well if I'm listening to 2 layers of music while trying to play a game. I much prefer my own music to listen to while playing all games. Its a form of meditation to me and the in-game music is just distracting. PLEASE make some controls to where I can turn off the game music in Destiny. Thanks ....
-
hate the screams, I want to hear voices sometimes but the new screams are irritable
-
Lol! This!!!!
-
I love this idea. It's a shame that such basic options are not available DAY ONE. WTF Bungie
-
Dat 2014 Options. Its amazing what wasn't included day one.
-
Played an old school NES game from 1987 the other day. Found a music on/off option in the menu. Immediately furious.
-
Yes, PLEASE make this happen!!!!!!! I play these games based on sound proximity. Bad guys coming from left, right, in front or behind. To get the jump on when I'm not looking at the map. I also have problems separating sounds. Like when I'm in a crowd of chatting people while holding a personal conversation with someone. I can hear/understand them well. That's how the music is to me when i play this game. Also, the other day I was killing something and kept hearing a robotic noise. I searched for the culprit. Turns out it was in the music. Please give the option!
-
I think having a play music from flashdrive option would be nice too
-
HELLO? BUNGIE???? Takeing our money is easy, delivering Content and user-friendly Game-Settings seem like another pair of shoes..... Really, it is ridiculous...Such a simple thing.
-
The lack of any real development for this game is very evident...
-
This has been here for ages but still deserves a big ole BUMP!
-
I have a conspiracy theory. I think Bungie made a deal with the guy that did the music for Destiny. To get him to do it they agreed to never allow players to turn off or even turn down the music. Forcing millions and millions of players to have to listen to the same music every second they play the game. Truly despicable. Seriously, this issue WILL be the reason I stop playing this game.
-
this game this is the weird! you cant trade, max level is 20, no objective after game, only 3 classes, music cant be taken off, everyone just no scopes you, kill yourself by shooting your foot in water, ghosts only open doors, ships cant be upgraded till lvl 16 thats about it!
-
I can't recall playing a modern video game that doesn't have volume choices. I use my headset to bump fireteam chat and lower game sound, but it's not as good as having sliders to customize sound
-
Can't hear people on vog and ce because the musics so loud.
-
To me, if sounds as if Bungie turned the music volume down to were I can barely hear it. It didn't used to be this way.
