Bungie,
Please add a Audio/Sound/Music control panel to the options in Destiny. Your music is great, but when I want to listen to my own music I have to either turn my game sound way down or listen to my music and yours battle it out in my head.
-
Agreed. Sound options are important for PvE, where music drowns out too much (including chat). I'd also like options to turn down voiceovers were hear a lot (announcer, Ghost, etc.). This has been suggested many times before, though, without any result.
-
Really, still nothing? Sigh..
-
Although I completely agree that the option should be there (why the hell wasnt this thought of pre-launch?!?) I am seeing a lot of posts that are stating folks cannot hear the voice chat over the game music in their headset...you all DO realize you can set the game to ONLY send the voice chat to the headset right?
-
bump the -blam!- out of this
-
Earlier today I saw a post with a list of ideas to improve the game, one of the things on the list was audio control. DeeJ responded saying that he read the list and he liked the list. So he will probably bring it up.
-
Similarly, this would allow those of us gaming with headsets to better control the audio mix when using voice chat. Lots of drowning out when in a raid party.

Audio options were cut to make the game more accessible
-
I Have severe hearing loss trying to hear the people im playing with is next to impossible please add this feature for those of us who are hearing impaired cant be that hard to add some sliding bars for the voice music and effects.
-
It would be nice since whenever you enter a boss area, start a public event, or even run into a mob, the epic battle music dramatically increases and drowns out party voice chat. Music is fine, just not when I have to ask people what they said 2-3 times

Bump for bungie
-
Please hear us bungie! We like your game but without music control we are less likely to keep playing it or buying dlc.
-
This is a must. Seriously, why hasn't Bungie done this yet. I enjoy playing with my friends but after so much the music/sound can just get unbearable. Please make this happen Bungie.
-
I need the option to turn down the music and sound effects and turn up the chat. I cannot hear the other members of my fireteam over the other sound. Seriously, please implement this soon. Thanks.
-
-
Although the game does this automatically for you in the raid :p
-
I think even some nes games had this option wtf
-
Please, especially when destiny only has like four songs to start with
-
Bumpity. I was astounded to see there were no Audio options *at -blam!-ing all* when I went looking for them the other night, while Atheon was being a noisy shithead while teammates were giving me instructions. AUDIO OPTIONS, BUNGIE! DO IT! ATT: DeeJ
-
Please!!! I will not buy the DLC before bungie fixes this ! I love the game - and would even pay a monthly fee - but I can't take another minute of the soundtrack. More than 100 hours of force-fed music terror is too much! Pleeeeeeease!!!
-
Edited by Razzupaltuff: 11/13/2014 2:29:13 PMI do not understand why Bungie cannot be arsed to add something that simple to implement - or why they even "forgot" to add it right away.
-
Come on bungie... Seriously? I have music that I love listening to while playing games, can you please fix this! What a dumb oversight. Just now I left a crucible game because the stupid in game music kicked in over my current favourite song. This is a serious failing.
-
Why hasn't this been implemented yet? It seems like a very simple thing to address.
-
Agreed. Sony music unlimited subscribers are -blam!-ed when trying to jam the -blam!- out to THEIR PERSONAL MUSIC not some grandiose orchestrated score that is awesome until hour 50 playing the game. Sometimes I wanna hear waka flocka going hard in the paint while I plaster every alien in sight

I think I get what they're doing now.. If this isn't fixed before the DLC, I'm not even going to bother. Sadly I pre-ordered.. Fool me once Bungie.
