Add Audio Controls / Option to turn OFF in game music

Audio/Music Controls YES

Audio/Music Controls NO

I like the same game music for HUNDREDS of HOURS!

Bungie, Please add a Audio/Sound/Music control panel to the options in Destiny. Your music is great, but when I want to listen to my own music I have to either turn my game sound way down or listen to my music and yours battle it out in my head.

  • YES !!!! 90% so far. My god yes. Please Bungie see this and helps us out. I have ear issues (ruptured tympanic membrane) and I really have trouble hearing parts of the game. Please help us and let us adjust our sound/ music / FX volumes in a in game sound menu. Thank you Bungie.

    • I often set the volume on a lower level because music has a too much high volume. Please fix it. Give us the way to set music volume.

As a hardcore gamer with NO LIFE, this is the first game I encounter without the option to turn off ingame Music! Like WHAT THE HELL

    • I totally agree, the music is too loud and annoying during battles. It messes with the natural rythm of my movements in the fights and makes mee too agressive, not at the enemy but at the game itself. Please fix this.

    • Now that Sony have released the update to allow you to listen to music from USB there needs to be an option to adjust the audio mix

    • Good music however after listening to the destiny soundtrack repetitiously for weeks on end NEED I SAY MORE. Either fix it by december or count me out for the DLCs. seriously disturbing so little thought was put into the audio settings for a game supposed to be played for years. also add game chat or recruiting areas, feels ridiculously desperate waving randys down for help on a raid etc.

    • Please! Give me the option to turn off the music on my PS4! Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough is enough! I was hoping, that Firmware 2.0 with usb music would solve the problem - but it didn't! ( it always worked on the 360: you just had to choose an mp3 from the hd/usb-stick and pause it or turn down the volume of the mp3 = no ingame music) When you did this in any Halo game, the game warned you, that the ingame music should be audible - but let you mute it anyway! That was a good solution. ... from bungie... So : PLEASE - after so many hours of listening to the same music, over and over again - I really need to turn the ingame music off!!!!!

    • Please do this already. The audio is so out of balance in the game that I wasn't even aware that the Halloween mask had audio cues thanks to it being too quiet and the music being too loud.

    • Yeah i understand you want to protect your ip by playing music for youtub and whatever but. When i'm on patrol I rather not hear mars theme intro looping. Also I wouldn't mind a music player being dlc since the soundtrack is so good. I'd like to be able to change the tracks the levels use. I the sound team worked hard so they deserve the money for this feature, but I digress. We need a music on/off switch (for free!)

This seems to be a great game. But I cannot for the life of me bring myself to continue leveling or even playing because of one simple "flaw". So before I force feed this disc to my shredder, I need to know if there is a way to turn off this terrible music. I really don’t need a persistent cheerleader of so-so music to inform me I am about to get my ass stomped. It’s pretty obvious Bungie that lots of crap is coming at me; I don't need fake eerie music to cue me into the fact that there is most definitely something around the next corner. I really don’t want to believe that a major game maker would overlook something so basic as sound. If so I have to wonder whose driving the mother-ship. What gamer or game enthusiast sat through the build and thought WOW this feature is awesome?

    • Please!!! This needs to be done! I can't listen to the "music" any longer!!!! This game is made to be played for many hours - the music isn't. HELP !!! (also: please add an option to skip the cutscenes for the same reason)

      • I like the music, but it's too loud through my headset (yes, the headset has volume controls, but for a PC / Mac that adjust the system volume, not the headset volume.)

      • Agreed. Sound options are important for PvE, where music drowns out too much (including chat). I'd also like options to turn down voiceovers were hear a lot (announcer, Ghost, etc.). This has been suggested many times before, though, without any result.
