Keeping the MMO in the game

I am enjoying the gameplay so far. My biggest fear however is the fact that I have played these style of games before.(Plenty of FPS mission base MMOs out there for years) What holds Destiny apart? Enviroment, voice overs, and polished gameplay to just name a few What can cause people to leave in droves? a repetitive closed world. Being that it is beta, content is limited to all hell I am sure. This is a stress test more than anything else. Zones are polished as well with nice detail an hidden rooms that bring out the world. This is basically my hope/warning/fear.... ? Essentially I rarely saw more than 6 players on my screen at one time. The public zones are still relatively small which runs together with low amount of players per an instance. AT TIMES, this really plays like WarFrame with a slightly increased play area. Leveling as it is has been turned up for beta. Grinding will become a must which is perfectly fine. The problem here is that there is little interaction with other players, and this is feeling like a single player game with 3-person multiplayer maps. What can fix this? (If not fixed already as this is BETA) 1. Larger zones that can handle several players. 2. More random events and more random creatures that require groups. 3. More of a wish: Randomly generated mini-maps that are non-spawn zones that anyone can enter. (This is not as much as the multiplayer aspect as it is the immersion aspect of things). Not a big list, because these are large items to as already. Again, great game.. Item progression(though they could use more variety) with level/skill progression looks to be a great balance looks good and will be slowed down a bit which is nice. The atmosphere, voice overs, gfx detail(even on a PS3) are all covering their basis. However, an empty-like world can kill games like these faster than you can say more micro-transactions. Great job so far Bungie :)
