I'm not too sure if Bungie is doing this, ( I HOPE THEY ARE ) but I think it would be really cool to have some kind of Mythology about the fabled Guardians of Crucible past. I think it would be really interesting to see who were the champions and what are their stories. I thought of this today at lunch and it just sparks more interest for me to want to know more about those guardians and their accomplishments as Gladiators did in Rome. One idea to bring this concept forward to current Guardians is what if we have an image of the current Leaderboard Stat holder as a banner somewhere in the tower? Or what if instead of a banner it was an actual hologram of the player model in some action/hero pose showing that Guardian on display for the entire community to witness in all their glory... People could hold leaderboard rank for a week or a designated time frame and then that display of the guardian would change depending on what you guys wanted to highlight that week. For instance there could be 52 in a year if one guardian is highlighted each week. This can be rewarded with special in game loot, gear, weapons, achievements....you name it. Then maybe for that year there can be literally a wall of champions with those users names etched in stone.. I think this could potentially be an awesome way to pull the user in more to not just their own journey, but the stories of the past...and promises of the future. -Menty
