Hey everybody i have some ideas for more competitive players and i think they will agree. Make a playlist that caters to people who want a more balanced game. Such as no special ammo start off it promotes camping. People should should start empty like the heavy weapon and when they die special ammo should be dropped. This promotes more skill and more map control. I can't tell you how many games i played were players spawned camping with a shotgun. Next the super powers all are fine i don't really care however it would be better if it took longer to fill super power bar. If not that make it a kill streak don't reward bad players who have no skill with constant one shot abilities. I understand you wan't all you players to be happy and i totally agree but please cater to your competitive players more and not so much the noobs. I ask just one playlist be like this you already catered to non-competitive players by putting PVE story mode, Nerfing Pulse rifles to the point they are useless, and not only that level advantage playlist. If i wanted a game that wants to make sucky players happy and rewards people for sucking i would buy Call of Duty but im not. I feel like you guys had it golden in halo 3 make a playlist that caters to both sides social and ranked. You saw what happened when game developers cater to noobs people don't like it look at how nobody wants to play Halo 4 it sucked. You guys set the standard for true skill PVP games with halo 2 and 3 please do it again or this is just another call of duty star wars style . This is of course my opinion if you guys as a community feel the same way leave a comment below thanks.

A hardcore playlist is a must. No radar, supers charge only for gaining kills (or objectives), no special ammo start and weapon balance with an emphasis on precision. Actual skill ranks would be preferable as well. Good post, definitely on the right track.

Um powers are fine as they are but we should be able to select the map we play and the rules if we want to in the full game

I'm 100*[insert any number you wish here]% agree with this. I would really like to see a playlist where you have no radar (kinda takes away being able to sneak up on someone), no ammo except primary at the start of every fight, and to see the supers be a kill streak reward, as previously mentioned. Also, I think they should remove vehicles at the start of First Light. I have seen ppl running around in the vehicles, killing 5-10 ppl, but once they lose the vehicle, they can't kill anyone cuz they suck. Maybe it's just me, but getting a vehicle at the very start never did make sense to me, unless it was a large map that required time to get across. I would really like to see one or two of each vehicle(depending on the vehicle) placed closer to the middle somewhere, that way each team had to FIGHT for them, instead of having them giving to them. I think it would make each game a little more competitive.

I believe a separate playlist with some of these options would really enhance the competitive side of PVP. First light (the moon) could further be balanced in a competitive game mode with some small tweaks, such as: -Removing the vehicles from the map or simply have one interceptor located in the middle of the map that both teams must compete over. -Remove spawning with special ammo at the beginning of the map and have that placed around the interceptor. Supers do seem like they occur too many times in multiplayer. If they occurred a little less frequently or even were a kill streak reward. Either way I believe some form of these should be issued in a Competitive/ranked mode of PVP in addition to the casual options we currently have.
