Support Generation Based Crossplatform Gaming!
To be honest this sucks. I just discovered [url=http://www.joystiq.com/2014/07/20/bungie-engineer-explains-lack-of-cross-platform-play-for-destiny]THIS[/url]. Now I think they could change it so that it is Generation Based Crossplatform Gaming and I hope they can see that too!

As half baked as this sounds, I was hoping for one server so that it didn't matter what platform you played on. It would be a revolutionary move which is very unlikely to happen for political and corporate reasons. At least the legacy restriction should be lifted but I have no idea what the technical issues are. Would you have to dumb down graphics and frame rates for it to work properly across the board?

This is really disappointing, my gf and I were looking forward to playing this, but we only have 1 Xbox 360 and 1 Xbox One. Since we always game together it's unlikely we'll purchase Destiny now.
