What happened to this feature? Would love to see this in the full game as it was very cool.
Edit: Also in the demonstration it seems much more seamless to join your friend while he is exploring. Now it seems very cumbersome since if I join my friends fireteam it kicks us back into orbit.
Edit2: Doesn't kick the host out of orbit but it does kick the person joining the host's fire team into orbit.

5 RepliesThe game they had in 2013 and the one they shipped are not the same. They got us good though! Lesson learned: don't buy new Bungie games. Having played the game, their own Vidocs are hilarious monuments to Destinys failures.

2 RepliesThat was part of their false advertising. They screwed us into it, just like how NOT A WORD was said about leaving ALL year one gear in the dust as "year one" Bungie, I just got the queen breaker bow for a week and then you killed it. Thanks for the waste of time, I now know that with your current system, I should only play destiny at its birthday anniversary to not waste my time. Now go back to deleting old guns while adding "new" ones

1 ReplyIt's interesting that only in TTK did they put back in the engrams spewing out of the dying strike bosses, which was seen in a ViDoc before Destiny released.

NERFED..........Was too OP, people were getting killed too much in the crucible by people's friends joining in and landing on their heads, so the crucible players cried and Bungie answered their saltiness just like every other Nerf that has plagued this game.

Spawning guardians directly to your location was OP. The Fallen bitched until they got it nerfed.

I remember that they changed A LOT from then to launch including the main story it sucks :/ they took away all the good features.

Bungie sold us on the Destiny of 2013 and gave us the 2014 version. It's called "false advertising."

7 RepliesEverything about that trailer is -blam!-ing amazing. None of that is in the real game. The arbiter at the beginning, the drop ship festering and changing the world, even the way the revolver flourished as he took it out, WHY IS IT NOT LIKE THIS!?
