Why do we put down animals when they are in pain, yet we allow humans to suffer until death? Putting an Animal down is the "Humane" thing to do yet its not "Humane" to let a human die. If I am of sound mind with a terminal illness, might have 1 month to live or paralysed, why should I have to live my life in embarrassment and be helped going to the toilet? Why can't I just move on? (Depends completely on the person of course).
